From April 9th to April 27th, the London Games Festival will host a series of events across the city, catering to both industry professionals and gaming enthusiasts for its ninth year in a row. With a mix of conferences, showcases, and consumer events, the London Games Festival offers a rich tapestry of opportunities for networking. This year, LGF is hosting a brand new conference named ‘Screen Play’ which looks at the renewed links between the games, film and TV screen sectors on Wednesday 10. Games London’s flagship Games Finance Market, which provides tailored introductions between developers and investors & publishers runs on the 11th & 12th. And the world’s most coveted accolades, the BAFTA Games Awards, takes place on the evening of Thursday 11th.

EGX (Eurogamer Expo):

EGX is one of the largest gaming events in the UK. This expo has earned a reputation for its diverse range of attractions, from exclusive game previews to developer sessions. EGX provides a unique blend of consumer engagement and professional networking. Develop:Brighton Taking place from July 9th – 11th, has established itself as a key event for the game industry in the UK. Whether you’re working in AAA or creating an indie game, Develop is packed with value for everyone in games. Speaker submissions are open, so regardless of your position in the industry, if you have an idea for a talk on anything game dev, consider signing up! 1,800+ companies attended the expo floor last year, and we were one of them! The expo is free to attend so even if you can’t attend the entire event, I’d highly recommend dropping by the expo floor to network with people from all corners of the industry. Game Anglia Network Expo:

Game Anglia, established in 2019, is dedicated to helping young people and independent game developers in the East of England gain the skills, experience, and connections needed to succeed in the UK and international game development industry. The expo will take place at the University of Suffolk on the 2nd of February. Through their range of events, workshops and initiatives, their goal is to empower individuals to learn, create, discover and promote. Whether you’re thinking about a career transition into games, or an experienced developer, Game Anglia has you covered.

Guildford.Games Festival:

Gamers, tech enthusiasts and game developers are invited to Guildford for February the 16th. Immerse yourself in a world where creativity meets technology, featuring cutting-edge gaming showcases, engaging panels and talks and networking opportunities! Notably, this celebration of innovation and the vibrant gaming community that resides in Guildford is free to attend for everyone. There are four main rooms, each featuring an exciting itinerary, from portfolio reviews to innovative technological showcases. Don’t miss this one!
